She spent the past 24 hours in full-on glamour mode as she appeared on The Today Show on Tuesday morning just hours after looking fabulous at Monday night's Met Gala.
But Jessica Alba was back to being a hands-on mother later in the day.
The 32-year-old was seen checking out of her New York hotel carrying her younger daughter Haven, one, while Honor, four, walked alongside her carrying two balloons.

Despite her hectic schedule, Jessica managed to look perfectly put-together in figure-hugging jeans, a simple white V-neck T-shirt and a blue-and-white patterned blazer.
She wore her long hair in glamorous waves over her shoulders, and looked to still have her smokey eyeshadow on from her earlier appearance on The Today Show.

In their interview, The Today Show host and Jessica evidently had a bet about who could stay at the gala longer the night before, which Lauer, the more seasoned early-riser, won.
The Love Guru actress went on to talk in detail about her new book Honest Life, which is Alba's guide to eliminating toxic chemicals from her family's everyday lives.
'I'd like to sleep in and spend the day with my girls,' the actress said, when asked what she would be doing for her upcoming Mother's Day this Sunday.

The Tory Burch-designed dress featured peek-a-boo cutouts on the chest and midriff, showing off Jessica's figure in the process.
The actress had her brunette tresses coiled up in a bun and wore a pair of dark matching rings on her right hand to the Punk: Chaos To Couture exhibit, which examines punk rock's influence on high fashion since its birth in the 1970s.
It was a marked contrast to earlier when the actress struggled to contain her cleavage while taking four-year-old daughter Honor and younger daughter Haven to a city park.

At the park, Jessica was wearing a black bra under a black tank-top with a black-and-white striped button-down shirt.

Jessica wore her long brown hair loosely and sported dark sunglasses and minimal make-up.

Honor kept it simple in a yellow dress and a stylish grey jacket with black ankle boots.

Alba has been married to Cash Warren since May 2008.
The brunette beauty is the founder of The Honest Company, which delivers eco-friendly baby-care products and household cleaners to families at affordable prices.
