Back to mommy duty! Jessica Alba checks out of New York hotel with her two daughters in tow after glamming it up at Met Gala AND The Today Show

She spent the past 24 hours in full-on glamour mode as she appeared on The Today Show on Tuesday morning just hours after looking fabulous at Monday night's Met Gala.
But Jessica Alba was back to being a hands-on mother later in the day.
The 32-year-old was seen checking out of her New York hotel carrying her younger daughter Haven, one, while Honor, four, walked alongside her carrying two balloons.

The actress had her hands full as she balanced her little girl in the crook of her arm while holding a milk bottle and carrying a large baby bag over her shoulder.
Despite her hectic schedule, Jessica managed to look perfectly put-together in figure-hugging jeans, a simple white V-neck T-shirt and a blue-and-white patterned blazer.
She wore her long hair in glamorous waves over her shoulders, and looked to still have her smokey eyeshadow on from her earlier appearance on The Today Show.

Jessica has had a busy 24 hours, appearing on The Today Show just a few hours after looking elegantly fabulous at the Punk: Chaos to Couture Met ball - and inadvertently flashing a breast while taking her jacket off in the park on Monday afternoon.

The Valentine's Day actress wore a yellow jacket over a printed black dress with powder blue heels as she strolled into The Today show studios, looking cute yet feeling 'a little rough around the edges,' as she later told Matt Lauer.

In their interview, The Today Show host and Jessica evidently had a bet about who could stay at the gala longer the night before, which Lauer, the more seasoned early-riser, won.
The Love Guru actress went on to talk in detail about her new book Honest Life, which is Alba's guide to eliminating toxic chemicals from her family's everyday lives.
'I'd like to sleep in and spend the day with my girls,' the actress said, when asked what she would be doing for her upcoming Mother's Day this Sunday.

Jessica stepped out in a glamorous leather perforated gown at the 2013 Met Ball on Monday night.
The Tory Burch-designed dress featured peek-a-boo cutouts on the chest and midriff, showing off Jessica's figure in the process.
The actress had her brunette tresses coiled up in a bun and wore a pair of dark matching rings on her right hand to the Punk: Chaos To Couture exhibit, which examines punk rock's influence on high fashion since its birth in the 1970s.
It was a marked contrast to earlier when the actress struggled to contain her cleavage while taking four-year-old daughter Honor and younger daughter Haven to a city park.

The Fantastic Four actress showed some side-boob while shedding one of her outer layers, but later in the evening had everything in place in a stunning floor-length gown with peek-a-boo cutouts.
At the park, Jessica was wearing a black bra under a black tank-top with a black-and-white striped button-down shirt.
She also had a longer, light blue coat that she ditched as the weather warmed up with a pair of tight blue skinny jeans and black ankle boots.
Jessica wore her long brown hair loosely and sported dark sunglasses and minimal make-up.

The Sin City sex symbol showed her playful side and made a solo trip down the slide at a park.
She also helped little Haven with a trip down the slide.
Haven wore a tan outfit with matching handkerchief and her hair was buttoned-up in a Pebbles Flinstone-style look.
Honor kept it simple in a yellow dress and a stylish grey jacket with black ankle boots.

Alba has been married to Cash Warren since May 2008.
The brunette beauty is the founder of The Honest Company, which delivers eco-friendly baby-care products and household cleaners to families at affordable prices.
Jessica also has two sequels coming out this year - Sin City: A Dame to Kill For on October 4 and Machete Kills on July 31.
