Her fiancé may be one of the biggest rockstars in the world, but Kate Hudson insists their relationship is far more 'old-fashioned'.
The actress recently opened up about the Muse frontman, saying that they enjoyed a traditional courtship - despite the fact she fell pregnant just eight weeks into their romance.
She said: ‘It was all very old-fashioned and proper and we went on lovely dates, but two months later I was pregnant.’

Speaking to the May issue of Elle UK, Kate said ‘Well, yes I was shocked, but I also thought: "This is going to be interesting."'
After just a short amount of time together, the prospect of a baby could have tarnished their romance, and the Hollywood startlet knew that.

She admitted: 'I knew it would take a strong man to deal with it. You know that with a relationship things can go either way when you have a child.

She said: 'We will get married. I do think it’s important but we have no plans. Ryder wants a party.

'For me it’s not the legal part that is important, it’s what it means to the family.'
Her sincerity on this topic can be understood, considering her mother Goldie Hawn and step-father Kurt Russell - Kate's biological father is singer Bill Hudson - have been together for 30 years.
Their special day was shared just by Kate and her siblings in a home ceremony: 'We were all together at home, Dad gave Mum a ring and said some beautiful words.
'It was their own version of the ceremony and I remember it so well. It was like it was about us. The family was the glue.'
Back in perfect physical condition after giving birth to Bingham in July 2011, Kate says 'the weight went pretty easily.'
'Good food looks after you. I don’t believe in diets, I think the whole concept should be banned. I think we just have to learn how to eat properly.'
