She flaunted her bikini body in an Instagram picture on Monday at her idyllic resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.

But Ashley Tisdale appeared reluctant to cover up again as she jetted back to Los Angeles.

The 27-year-old was in danger of revealing more than she bargained for in a skimpy dress as she and her boyfriend Christopher French made their way through Los Angeles International Airport on Tuesday.

The actress nearly exposed too much in the black-and-white maxi dress, which featured a large keyhole cut-out in the bust area.

Ashley showed off her tan from her recent holiday in the strapless frock, which she paired with brown studded gladiator sandals.

She was clearly still in the beachy spirit as she donned a stylish cream hat and wore her blonde hair in loose waves over shoulders.

At one point the star was seen shielding her eyes with trendy cat-eye sunglasses with a Louis Vuitton bag slung over her shoulder.

Her boyfriend Christopher, meanwhile, looked studiously casual in skinny trousers folded at the ankle and a T-shirt with an image of a red skull on the front.

He covered up with a denim jacket and donned black Converse trainers and black shades, slicking his hair back with gel.

The couple were in Cabo to celebrate a friend's wedding, for which Ashley donned a flowing lilac gown, with a dramatic train trailing behind her in the evening breeze.

Ashley couldn't help but gush over the romantic event via her Twitter page, and hinted the nuptials had made her feel in the mood for love.

She wrote: 'Perfect day and perfect night. Such a wonderful celebration #loveisintheair.'

She shared an image of her ensemble for frolicking in the Mexico heat via her Instagram page.

The brunette donned a plain peppermint colour triangle top with patterned briefs, showing off her flat stomach in the process.

Wearing dark shades over her eyes she captioned the snap: 'Happy earth day from Paradise!'
